In Luke 7:36-50, Jesus reclines at the table of Simon the Pharisee when a sinful woman enters uninvited and anoints his feet with tears, hair, and costly perfume. Simon internally objects, questioning whether Jesus can truly be a prophet if he allows such a woman to touch him. Jesus responds by telling the parable of two debtors, declaring that the one forgiven the greater debt loves more, and then pronounces the woman's sins forgiven because of her great faith.
